GCC Concert Series
Kicking off our first entry in the GCC Concert Series for the upcoming season, Memphis & Nashville recording artist CJ Starnes and his band will be performing in the GCC sanctuary NEXT FRIDAY, October 2nd at 7pm. This is a free event thanks to generous donations from sponsors. Please invite your friends - especially folks who otherwise might not consider entering a church - and join us for an exciting evening of original indie/country/folk songs. We are so excited to partner with one of our church-sponsored ministries to help make this event possible (more info TBA), and donations raised from this event will go towards helping to support that ministry. GCC Choir & Youth Orchestra
We are so excited to have choir and Youth Orchestra back! Choir AND Youth Orchestra have resumed on Wednesday’s (Orchestra - 5:50-6:25, Choir - 7:30-8:30PM).
HOWEVER Youth Orchestra is back on break until November 1st.
Women’s Bible Study Returns
This semester Women's Bible Study will be studying the book of Joshua using Jen Wilkin's new study guide. We are excited to offer two meeting times for this study: Sunday morning during Sunday School and Wednesday evening from 6:30-7:25. Book cost is $20 and can be paid by cash or check. If the cost poses a hardship, scholarships are available. Please see Jana Grayson, Janet Wunrow, or Nancy Myers for more information.
We also have a group of ladies 65+ who meet on Monday mornings at 10:00 at the home of Amy Cox. This group is reading through the Bible together at an unhurried but steady pace. They are also reading and discussing Jen Wilkin's newest book From Dust to Dust: Aging Wisely in an Anti-aging World. Please see Jana Grayson or Amy Cox for more information.
Ladies’ Gathering
Ladies, join us for Coffee and a Card at our next Ladies' Gathering on Saturday, November 7th from 10:00 a.m. to noon. We will meet at Ginny's home to enjoy breakfast and fellowship plus the making of a simple card (led by Ginny). Please RSVP to the event in the Women's Ministry group on Church Center or to Jana at children@gccmemphis.com so Ginny can have plenty of card making supplies prepped. Can't be there the whole time? Feel free to come and go as you need to! Ginny's address is on the event in Church Center and the flyers posted around the church building.

Men’s Prayer Meetings
Due to scheduling conflicts, Men’s Prayer Meetings have been moved to the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 PM in the GCC Sanctuary. Hope you’ll join us!

Bogota Trip Interest Form
The Baxleys have invited us to serve alongside them at their Christmas festival hosted at their church as a community outreach for their neighbors. The dates are December 3rd-7th 2026. We are looking for people interested in attending to serve as well as others who can help plan and organize the event in the months leading up to it.
This form provides more information and a few short questions to help us gauge interest and availability. Please take a second to fill it out and begin praying for this opportunity for our church to serve in Bogota.

Pray for One Another
We pray for one another because we are connected in an authentic community of faith. Each day this week, take a moment to pray for some of the people God has planted in our community. Thank God for calling them to be members of our church family. Pray for His help and provision for their needs. Ask Him to encourage and grow them in their faith. If you have an opportunity, take a moment and send them a word of encouragement this week.
