Our Mission:
To encourage the members of GCC to Delight in God, Demonstrate Mercy, and Declare the Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ with a focus outward toward the communities around us.
Our Goals:
To reach a church minimum giving of 10% towards outreach/missions.
To encourage each and every member of GCC to look at their own budget like the church views its budget.
To eventually support missions on every inhabited continent
Local Missions:
RUF Memphis
Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) is a campus ministry that reaches college students from all backgrounds with the hope of Jesus Christ. College is a time when beliefs are explored, decisions are made, and lives are changed. We invite students into authentic relationships and the study of God’s Word. Through the ministry of RUF, students discover the love of Christ, find their significance in God’s redemptive story, and engage in the life of His church.
A Way Out (CCV Memphis)
The mission of Citizens for Community Values (CCV) is to inspire, motivate and mobilize citizens, community leaders and elected officials to take action against sexual exploitation and pornography so that our children and families are protected, victims are rescued and restored, the standard of decency is raised and our quality of life is improved.
Life Choices of Memphis
In 1986, Life Choices began its ministry to women facing the prospect of an unplanned pregnancy.
Lifesong (Adoption)
Lifesong seeks to mobilize the Church to care for the orphan, where each member can provide a unique and special service: some to adopt, some to care, some to give. Lifesong supports children through global orphan care ministries, Christian adoptive families, and foster care initiatives.
Mid-South Food Bank
To change lives by eliminating hunger in the Mid-South. By providing food for families, children and seniors, we impact their lives by solving one of the biggest struggles they face: getting enough nutritious food to eat to live a healthy life.
Request: To encourage an environment where parents and youth participate in giving back to the community by volunteering their time at Mid- South food market.
This request is that once a quarter strive for a week of GCC volunteers with parents/youth.

Josh & Ashley Underwood (Scotland)
God first gave the Underwood family a heart and love for the people of Scotland during their first visit back in 2014. Josh was active-duty military, living in Germany at the time, but Josh and Ashley both knew the Lord would call them back overseas for ministry work.
There is a great need for gospel workers in a post-Christian secular society like Scotland. The Free Church has a vision to see a healthy gospel church for every community in Scotland and to plant 30 new churches by 2030. In order to do that, they must train and equip over 70 new ministers. The Underwoods plan to work alongside the Free Church in this monumental endeavor with the skills and talents that the Lord has given them, particularly through discipleship and evangelism. Past Trips: Josh & Ashley visited GCC in 2024 before they left for Scotland full-time
The Grace Institute (Africa / Middle East)
One can have great education in a convenient format, but unless there's a commitment to discipleship and mentoring, there's limited transformational learning.
We consult groups through conferences in their country or even via Zoom or the phone.
Recent involvement: Raised money in 2025 for Pakistan and Africa.
