GCC Choir & Youth Orchestra Has Resumed!
We are so excited to have choir and Youth Orchestra starting back up! Choir AND Youth Orchestra BOTH have resumed (Orchestra - 5:50-6:25, Choir - 7:30-8:30PM)! We will present our anthem on September 13th. You can find the rehearsal calendar on our website. Hymn Sing is August 30th, 5:30-6:30pm with a dessert social to follow.
The GCC children’s and youth choirs are invited to join the adult choir in singing Pass the Promise at the Hymn Sing on Sunday, August 30th. Philip will have short rehearsals with all who would like to participate on August 16th, August 23, and August 30th immediately after service in the sanctuary.

Men’s Prayer Meetings
Due to scheduling conflicts, Men’s Prayer Meetings have been moved to Tuesday’s at 7:00 PM in the GCC Sanctuary
We will now meet the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Hope you’ll join us!

Men of GCC, mark your calendars to attend our next GCC Men's Fellowship Breakfast, featuring Darren Adams as our guest speaker on 'The Gospel & Physics'. Ladies’ Night
Ladies, join us Friday, September 11 at 6:00 p.m. for an evening of fellowship and games at the home of Ginny Gafford. Snacks will be provided, bring your beverage of choice. Can't be there at 6:00? GCC Concert Series
Kicking off our first entry in the GCC Concert Series for the upcoming season, Memphis & Nashville recording artist CJ Starnes and his band will be performing in the GCC sanctuary on October 2nd at 7pm. This is a free event thanks to generous donations from sponsors. Please invite your friends - especially folks who otherwise might not consider entering a church - and join us for an exciting evening of original indie/country/folk songs. We are so excited to partner with one of our church-sponsored ministries to help make this event possible (more info TBA), and donations raised from this event will go towards helping to support that ministry. Bogota Trip Interest Form
The Baxleys have invited us to serve alongside them at their Christmas festival hosted at their church as a community outreach for their neighbors. The dates are December 3rd-7th 2026. We are looking for people interested in attending to serve as well as others who can help plan and organize the event in the months leading up to it.
This form provides more information and a few short questions to help us gauge interest and availability. Please take a second to fill it out and begin praying for this opportunity for our church to serve in Bogota.

Pray for One Another
We pray for one another because we are connected in an authentic community of faith. Each day this week, take a moment to pray for some of the people God has planted in our community. Thank God for calling them to be members of our church family. Pray for His help and provision for their needs. Ask Him to encourage and grow them in their faith. If you have an opportunity, take a moment and send them a word of encouragement this week.
