Community, we need more hospitality volunteers! Help serve by lending a hand during potlucks or events we have at the church. We still need some help for our marriage conference coming up! If you are interested in serving our church this way, please follow this link.
RUF Memphis Update
Our church currently supports two individuals working with RUF Memphis: Spencer Sipe and Jenna White. Spencer is on staff, while Jenna currently serves as an intern. RUF just finished up their winter conference in Jackson, MS, with a good response from the students. Spencer has been busy coordinating events for the guys including game night, sports watch parties and even a skeet shooting outing. Meanwhile, Jenna has been busy exploring the botanic gardens, visiting different coffee shops in the area and hosting an evening Bible study for the ladies. Both say they have seen students start to open up more and connect with each other. Now starts serious prep for the biggest annual event RUF has: summer conference. Please continue to pray for these two and the students at RUF Memphis. They will be visiting GCC on Sunday April 19th to further update us on their ministry. You can sign up for their news letter here.
Join us for a book discussion class on Dane Ortlund’s Gentle & Lowly
Christians know what Jesus Christ has done—but who is he? What is his deepest heart for his people, weary and faltering on their journey toward heaven? Jesus said he is “gentle and lowly in heart.” This book reflects on these words, opening up a neglected yet central truth about who he is for sinners and sufferers today.
Please sign up HERE if you wish to reimburse the church for the cost of the books.
Coffee & Conversations in the Pastor’s Office
You’re all invited to Ashley’s Office for Coffee and Conversation. Starting February 1st, during the Sunday School hour, step into the inner-sanctum of the Pastor’s Office for a time of fellowship and conversation. All you have to do is come prepared to answer four questions:
What have you been celebrating lately?
What has been hard lately?
What has the Lord been teaching you?
How can we pray for you?

Important Message From Our Deacons About Giving

If you have automatic giving setup in Tithe.Ly or Breeze, we ask that you please be on the lookout to shift to Church Center as we will no longer use Tithe.Ly or Breeze after the start of the year.

Pray for One Another
We pray for one another because we are connected in an authentic community of faith. Each day this week, take a moment to pray for some of the people God has planted in our community. Thank God for calling them to be members of our church family. Pray for His help and provision for their needs. Ask Him to encourage and grow them in their faith. If you have an opportunity, take a moment and send them a word of encouragement this week.
