Resting in the Overwhelm
Rest is a firewall against the idolatry of work. When we rest, we remind ourselves that our identity comes from our union with Christ. It’s his perfect work that provides the security we need to truly rest. When we find our identity in Christ our resting becomes inseparably linked to the worship of God.
